When I bought SIP Corporation (Universal Gear at the time), a common question was “Do you have a fax machine?” Within a year or 2 the question became “What is your fax number?” Our 15 year old fax machine just died on us so it is off to recycling. We never use it to send a fax but would still get a spam fax every month or so. We only used it to scan documents to store in our database. I am not sure if you can even buy a fax machine any more so we replaced it with a high speed, auto feed, double sided, dedicated scanner.
