In my last blog, I talked a little about Larry’s two part retirement. He first retired about a year ago and trying to replace him was going to be near impossible. I decided to let Mike take over sales for the whole country. He was already stretched thin so I needed a way to redistribute his responsibilities. I asked Larry if he could continue on and just handle phone tech support. So then he would answer tech questions nationwide and Mike would handle the sales. Larry really developed the Tech Hot Line into a great success in only one year. It was time, after 22 years with me, he wanted to fully retire. So how do I replace the irreplaceable?
It hit me like a ton of bricks. Who do I know that uses our grinders, has rebuilt both Peerless 3000 and an Ideal 1000, works for himself and makes awesome training videos. Someone to take over the Tech Support Hotline. There is only one person like that. Meet our new Phone Tech Support Wizard, Hector Velazquez.
