Someone, I don’t remember who, reminded me the other day that I have been customizing vans for fifty years. The first on was a 1973 Ford E100. I did all the work myself including the paint job. It included aftermarket AC (professionally installed). chrome side pipes, chrome reverse wheels with moon hub caps, white letter Dunlop tires, royal blue shag carpet everywhere inside with blue velvet curtains, a stereo out of a Cadillac and a DC refrigerator with an extra battery. Since then I have had a 1969 Chevy van, a 1993 Dodge B100, two 1998 E150s (still have one of them), three Dodge Sprinters and now three Ram ProMasters all customized to some extent. I have also had several minivans but they don’t count. Man fifty years is a long time.
